The review of last weekend's CIP concert will be published in tomorrow's Columbus Republic newspaper, but Chuck received an advance copy.His performance of Rossini's La Gazza Ladra Overture was reviewed as follows:
"Assistant Conductor Charles Latshaw led the orchestra with precision and grace. The entire ensemble, including the brass, played for him with wonderful lightness, which made the dramatic crescendos rewarding and exciting. The performance combined stateliness with touches of humor."
