Last night we came home from watching disappointing election returns, and we couldn't find Lenny anywhere. Usually if he's sleeping on our bed, he doesn't bother to get up when we come home, but he wasn't in there or anywhere else.
He was hiding in the coat closet.
He is terrified of beeping noises (like from cell phones) and the smoke detector had been beeping due to low batteries. He managed to get inside the closet, on top of a bin that Chuck keeps all of his tools in, and in between the coats. Finally he popped his head out a little bit when we called him.
We felt bad for him but it was REALLY funny.

Poor Lenny. That is really funny though that he thought to hide in the closet to get away from the beeping. Smart dog!
