Update from Bloomington

Well, things are winding down here getting ready for Christmas break, but are very hectic at the same time. Chuck is finished with school except for one paper due on Thursday (which he is planning on writing on Thursday!). I am working all of this week and through Wednesday of next week. Of course, all of the faculty and students are coming in with last minute "emergencies" before break, so it's a little bit crazy.

The snow has not all melted yet, and we're actually getting a little bit more today, which will turn to rain. So it's still pretty at least, but nothing is plowed very well. Three inches in Bloomington equals about three feet in New Hampshire!!

The CIP had their Christmas concerts on Saturday, one of which I saw and enjoyed. Chuck left yesterday for Chicago for the Midwest Band and Orchestra conference with his friend Blake. They're staying with Chuck's friend Chris and are going to meet up with an old friend of his from New Hampshire while they're there. So it's just Lenny and me until he comes back tomorrow, just in time to write that paper.

We are getting excited about going out to Columbus OH this weekend - for my friend Jen's wedding on the 17th, and then Latshaw family Christmas on the 18th!
